Calm your mind and explore the channels from your imagination to your fingertips.
Join us at Mellow for an intimate hand-building clay workshop in our studio, located in lower Manhattan. The workshop will begin with a short guided demonstration and introduction to hand-building followed by your own exploration. 
  • A portion of clay will be provided per person, your piece(s) will be limited to 7"x7", singular or in accumulation. 
  • Your piece(s) will be glazed and fired in white or clear and ready for collection 6 weeks after your class. We can also mail your piece to you at an additional cost.
  • Classes will be limited to 6 people, 13 years and older
  • The workshop will run for 2 hours
If you wish to book a private workshop, solo or with a group please get in touch, we would love to host you!
Class will be held at 38 Allen st @ Mellow. Booking is essential.
Reserved spaces are non-refundable, but a 3 months valid credit if cancellation is made in writing to info@mellownyc.com at least 48 hours prior to the class.

 

Terms & Conditions

All Mellow pieces are handmade.

If the item your ordered is in stock, your order will be shipped within 1-2 days. 

Some pieces are marked made to order and will ship in approximately 3-6 weeks.

If your order is a gift and needs to be delivered by a certain date we will do our best to accommodate your request — please include your instructions in the order notes or in an email to info@mellownyc.com. 

Orders will be shipped with USPS or UPS unless specified otherwise, we will do our best to accommodate. Pick-up is also an option to those in NY, we are located at 38 Allen St, NYC.

​For international orders the customer is responsible for payment of all duties or taxes imposed by the destination country for delivery.

We do our best to re-use packing materials where possible. Please forgive any scrunched up newspaper you might find in your order. Its purely just ensure your ceramic piece is arrives to you safely — If your order is a gift we will make sure it is packed beautifully! 

 

All mellow pieces are handmade, please note that sizes, shapes and colours may vary. Each glaze we use is food-safe and can also be cleaned in the dishwasher, although hand-washing is preferred to increase the longevity of the piece.  

Each piece is also microwave safe.
